If three OTs fly off the board in the first 9 picks they may change their mind.

KC could take an OT at 1, then force the Dolphins hand when at number 12 all the top OTs are gone.

Albert's agent totally ****ed him. Shoulda taken whatever reasonable offer the Chiefs had on the table back when they were making offers to both him and Bowe. Now Albert will get peanuts in comparison. He has no leverage. He signed the tender. If his back flares up, he gets nothing next year.

But it is still 8 to 9 million and a 2nd round pick. They could have had Long for the same money and saved the pick. There are other 1st round OT's in this draft. They might have to reach a bit, but there are also rumors of the Falcons and 69ers looking to move up too.

An injury prone OT who logged 64 snaps per game and almost 1000 per season from 2008-2011.
HILARIOUS!

Ya, I wouldn't say injury prone. He missed 3 games and that's the first time it was his back I believe. He passed his physical. Now let's say we kept him and he misses 8 games due to his back, then you can make the argument. But not now.

Honestly, Albert's going to have to agree to a smaller contract if he wants to be a Fin (which TBG has stated), or he's going to have to learn to love guard here in Kansas City.
Either way, we could have ourselves one seriously bruised vagina on our hands. |

Like I said before:
Trading Albert and picking Joeckel is dumb. Keeping Albert, moving him to guard and picking Joeckel to play LT is reeruned at a level the previous scenario doesn't begin to reach.
