Never say for sure when it comes to the draft, especially when to start they don't have a second rd pick. There could be a run of QB's in the late first and second and boom, the guys they were interested in there are gone.

Seems there is more than 3 teams that want one however. Not saying it's going down, but stranger things have happened.
Sounds like from the chatter today that the rest of the NFL is valuing these OT more than most of us are.

I honestly see Miami trading with Oakland for a younger/cheaper LT over them trading for Albert. The price would probably be in the same neighborhood, and they'd be able to have a LT who is someone they can groom. If I were a Fins fan, I'd rather trade for #3 to get Joeckel or Fisher over Albert anyway.

If Miami backs out, would any other team be interested in Albert?

I heard some reports about SD wanting Albert, its just unlikely he'd be traded to a division rival

Miami is the only team seriously interested I'm guessing.

If they can't get a second in a trade, they would be well served to just play him on the tag in 2013 and try to sign him long term like they did Bowe or to let him walk and collect a comp pick in the following draft for him like we did with Carr. |
