Sheldon Richardson or Jarvis Jones.

IMO best player in this draft to change the fortune of a shitty team that is picking top 5 of the draft is Geno Smith. So imo Geno Smith would make the biggest long term impact out of the players in this years draft. Best player to make a loser franchise into winners would be Geno Smith.

I have to go with Austin based off of who I have seen. I have only seen clips of Jordan, and from what I can tell, most of his sacks... while impressive... came when he was left unblocked. Not that he had that many sacks.
Austin, by a slight margin, over Geno for me. |

Lump me in with the Austin guys.
A hit with Geno Smith (or Barkley) would be a bigger impact, however. Tangental sidebar: I can't believe Nassib is being talked about at 8. I mean I can, his coach and all, but I never saw anything from that guy that spoke to anything above lower mid-round talent. |

Sharrif Floyd or Star Lotulelei
one or both of these guys is going to pan out with the ability to stop the run, and rush the passer and that is a rare premium for d-lineman that big and fast that can do both, as a team has to gameplan for them. (JJ Watt, Haloti Ngata, etc) but if you are talking best player at his position, Chance Warmack or Jonathan Cooper could be top 5, top 3 at the guard position in like one or two seasons, so technically, they would be the fastest risers in the respective skill set. |

I agree with Jarvis Jones, think Austin is up there as well.

Even without a need I wouldn't be upset if we took him. I love quarterback sacks (emphasizing the football term of 'sacks').

Tough one to pick because it is so hard to evaluate between different positions. I think the best offensive guy in the draft is Chance Warmack, and the best defensive guy is Jarvis Jones.

Jordan or Lotulelei, one for upside, one for production

I say Jordan.
He's wildly talented and driven by everyone thinking he doesn't deserve to be where he is...

No. No. He's a mediocre corner at best, and that's speaking about his college level of play. And I wouldn't say he's a better returner than Barrett Jones is an offensive lineman or something.
