Jim Irsay steps in to keep popular Colts bar open
Can't imagine too many owners in any sport doing this.

What kind of a shitty bar owner ties his business's success to the success of the football team?
If the Colts sucking brings your business into the hole, that means you suck as a bar owner. End of story. Go kill yourself. |

You know why your bar isn't doing so well? Because it's located in Indianapolis.
That city smells like a goddamn shit hole. |

I remember when Lamar Hunt floated some dollars to America's pub because it is where he found the finest bitches.

Call Mayflower. Baltimore's other football team seems to be doing well.

I was watching that ESPN "Elway to Marino" special the other day and noticed that the Baltimore Colts owner back then was Robert Irsay. Is this guy Jim's father or grandfather? I had no idea that the Colts were an Irsay-owned franchise dating back to that '83 draft. This Robert Irsay, with the way he handled the Elway situation, seemed like an idiotic, inadvertently self-sabotaging lunatic. Man they could have gotten such a sweeter deal if that dude wasn't involved.
I never heard much from or about Jim Irsay until the Suck for Luck stuff. Some of his tweets last year around that time kind of indicated to me that he hasn't fallen too far from the lunatic tree. |

Bars can be an absolute gold mine or a suck hole depending on a variety if factors, not the least of which is an owner with business savvy.
Really helps of you have good food and change up the menu periodically. If this guy is dependent on the Colts playing in prime time / proximity to Lucas Oil Stadium - then Irsay's little welfare check will only delay the inevitable. |
