This one seems different. 4 was slow paced and technical. This one is fast paced and wild. It was ok but I enjoyed the PS2 Fight Nights a lot more. It is fun playing as the classic boxers like Tyson though, which Champion has.

It's pretty fun. Definitely felt different than the previous games. I believe you can do a career with Tyson or whatever other classic boxers they have in the game. If you wanted to.

I loved champion. If anyone still plays it online stay away from that shit. Initially you had to use the thumbstick for the punches. A bunch of people cried and they added button controls.
Punch control improvements were awesome imo. Made it easier to throw real combinations. |

I downloaded this game a few months ago.
It's a fun game, but has the same problem every fight night game has... it's too damn easy against the CPU. I can't even get matches past the 2nd round any more on the hardest difficulty. I really like EA's boxing games, but I'm always disappointed in the lack of challenge they provide on the highest difficulties. The only hard part of the game was beating Issac Frost in the champion mode. |

I picked it up yesterday for $10; played guite a bit last night. It was pretty entertaining.
though after a few beers, my reaction time sucked lol I played soley the Legacy mode. Man...starting out you have a glass jaw, slow punches, and get tired super fast. Still fun though.
