That stretch between 2008-2010 for Rivers was pretty impressive.
30 wins 18 losses All 3 years above 65% completions 13000 yards 92 touchdowns 33 picks If we had traded for Rivers, not many would have batted an eye at 2 second rounders. Most of us would be totally homering it up with realistic hope of this kind of production at quarterback. |

I would in a heart beat.
The worst case scenario with Rivers would be not contending, maybe a wild card birth with no shot at a Super Bowl... AKA Alex Smith. The best case would be contending for Super Bowls. I'll take it. |

Rivers has fallen off, but I would take the chance.

Alex Smith haters consider his entire body of work, and the talent surrounding him when he actually "produced." Same standard applied to Rivers. If we had a poor OL and no running game I wouldn't trade for Rivers.

I'd trade Alex Smiff for a ham sandwich.

That's a slight increase over Cassel's "crate of bananas and a handjob down at the doocks"-worth...

This poll is evidence of how much Chiefs fans hate Rivers just for being a bitch lol. He's a better QB than Alex Smith and would give us a much better chance at winning a Super Bowl with this group of players. But screw the Super Bowl. He's a whiny bitch right?

No, it shows that 2008-2010 Rivers shits on Smiff's entire career and that he'd actually be worthy of the hype that True Fans are giving to Smiff.

This is ridiculous. Thus far in their careers it's Rivers by a mile. He's a douche, but this is silly.

I find it to be pointless. Yes I think Rivers is the better QB but he is also a major choke artist. I just think it would be moot to make a trade like that probably get more mad at Rivers for ****ing up in the playoffs. Rivers would be some hairy ass play that ends up on bloopers and Smith just being sacked too much.
