This is the only response worth reading. Offense has a lot of work to do but Andy will spend next year getting some wr's. Our crop is crap except Bowe.

Because you were the only one who was against the Smith trade...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

While this is true, last week we played the worst defense in NFL history with a total idiot at the helm of it.

It averages out between the two. Just like Alex Smith averages out to be very average. Most sane people knew this going in to this thing. AS isn't anyone's savior. This team will win in spite of him, not because of him.

Does this sound familiar in describing anyone that played here recently? That's where you get the Casshole comparisons. He can't carry a team either.

In this instance, we got ****ed out of two high picks instead of just one for the same thing. The cowardice of our ownership continues along the same train track of failure. Buy tickets now!!!

Colt McCoy, BLEH.
Imagine if you had traded 2 high draft picks to get McCoy and then 10-20 fanbois showed up. How would you feel then?

Questions: Have the 49 ers been under the same coaching system, offensive schemes and defensive schemes for going on 3 years now? Did they not make the NFC Championship the year before last (according to many here) solely on the defense? And did they not, with the same defense, and yes, a stud of a QB, make it to the Super Bowl last year?

Are the Chiefs coming off a 2-14 season, and now have a new coach, new offensive schemes, and defensive schemes that need to come together as it would for any team?

Granted, Alex Smith isn't Tom Brady, or Kapertat, but both are playing with teams that have their foundations built and set. We do not. I know patience is thin, and I understand why, but ****ing A people, get a grip. You sound like a bunch of whiny bitchy women, and that's pretty bad coming from a woman.

The overreaction around here is amazing.
