Bad enough to have threads hijacked into Alex discussions. They don't need threads hijacked into 49ers discussions.
its not really hi jacking it though. If you are discussing games being played by alex smith, you really only have 49er games to talk about.

It was 28-6.

I think what you said about Kaep bringing more impact plays is fine.. that he can make for a quicker comeback.. and I think Kaep will be a good QB (and is).. but if Alex was in that game, how can we even say SF is down 3 TDs after the 2nd half KO return? We can not.

If you look at his statistics they're good. Not GREAT. Save the playoff game vs GB.

He looks bigger, stronger, the team is solid. I don't see how they miss the playoffs. Maybe the lack of a solid #2 will hurt him early, but Mannigham will be back mid-season. Crab'll be back for the playoffs.

Unless he just completely falls apart I don't see how he regresses (barring injury) I feel that same way about a lot of the young QB's.

Luck
Dalton
RG3
Wilson
This year, there will be a lot of tape for opposing teams to study. I think it will be similar to what happened to Cam Newton last year.

But when you come down to discussing Kaepernick's super bowl play on a Chiefs forum -- no wonder they want us to climb a flaming aids tree on the bank of Lake Anti Freeze.
I was just thinking about that. My bad guys....

There's tape on every guy that's played more than one season.

The Panthers are a garbage team/organization.

Bro. Smith wouldn't have been inept for the first 2.75 quarters desperately needing a power outage. bro.

I would make the argument that getting 2 field goals in the first half is exactly what he would have done, because that's what he has always done.

We're talking about a guy that essentially averaged 1 TD a game.

I totally agree. I'm talking about discussions about Kaepernicks stats in the super bowl or if he choked or lost it. You weren't one of the guys discussing that.

I was just throwing out that the Chiefs fans here probably don't care about the last super bowl. Alex wasn't in it. They don't Kaep super bowl discussions or 49ers discussions outside of Alex in context.

Now discussions about Alex as relates to his future with the Chiefs, of course there will be a lot of 49ers related discussion. It is pretty easy to tell when we are discussing Alex as relates to Chiefs, as opposed to non-Chiefs related crap we have rehashed over and over on the 49ers forum already.'

Just a reminder to some to not piss off the nice KC fans here by having non-KC, non-Alex discussions here. I didn't even mean you.

they were down 28-3 because of KAEP. he was 3 nd outing like a mofo with an int and kept on giving ravens chance to score without scoring himself thats why they were down so while i agree alex wouldn't have been able to come back i don't think they would be down 28 3. I actually think they couldve been maybe a touchdown down. remember alex at qb the offense had higher percenntage of scoring per drive. His drives lasted longer and ended in scores preventing the ravens from scoring that much as well

This is the kind of crap I am talking about. There are 2 49ers fans here rehashing the "what if's" of the super bowl.

This is an Alex thread on a Chief's forum. The Chiefs fans don't want to hear this and they shouldn't have to.

It is easy to forget you are not on a 9ers forum, but we owe it to the Chiefs fans to remember where we are, what the discussion is, and who is the audience -- people who root for the KC Chiefs.

Thanks for your cooperation.

OK, but you deserve to at least keep this about the Chiefs and about Alex as Chief's QB. We might as well be talking women's nude tackle curling as just non-Chiefs 49ers crap.

If the 49ers guys really want to talk only 49ers, they can start a thread and so Chiefs fans can avoid it like the plague.
