Saw a group of Mexicans on Sunday off of Buford Hwy - there was one Great Granddad Mexican that they were all huddled around.

Not only were there many teens and children - there were also about 25-30 pigeons. The Granddad Mexican guy was feeding the birds cheetos. What's even more shocking is - the birds were flying off of this guy's forearm and landing to receive the cheetos (about 3-4 birds at a time) out of the guys hands, at close proximity. I can honestly say I've never seen anything like that in my life.

A genuine 'Is this real life?' vibe, to be certain.

I've been meaning to tell this - I figure here is as good a place as any.

ha - no - they dominate a stretch of about three miles on a road called Buford Hwy, I live toward buckhead from there - if you're familiar w/ Atlanta.

But this street Buford Hwy - has the following sectors - Romanian, Russian, Korean, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Malaysian, and a greek area working westward. Also this hwy is half surrounded by a humongous Jewish community.

Interesting Hwy, but nothing elegant or upscale - just good, clean, raw culture.
