Easily the best Chiefs week we've had in a while.

Following a promising opening win, and going into our second game which is a home opener against a hated opponent.

Sounds like Arrowhead is going to be in prime condition.

The team is 100% pumped.

Our team is legitimately better, with the sole exception of the Cowboys vaunted passing offense.

This is going to be a very fun game, but I have loved the shit out of this week.

The Chiefs are not a Super Bowl team, but if they can put together an above-.500 season where they put the hurt on everybody they play... this will be a great year.

I'm certainly going to reserve judgment until midseason. I just haven't been happy with our interior play so far. Nothing terrible but with the amount we have spent on Oline I expect nothing short of best in the league.

Didn't Hudson rate out as the #1 center in the NFL in Week 1 per PFF?

I'm pretty sure he did.

Do you give/take mulligans for being the #1 guy at your position?

I think it'll take them some time to gel, but midseason's fair.

The best part about this weekend is that it gives us a look at the team against a squad that isn't Jacksonville. It's easy to be excited about last week, and to say the warts they showed don't matter. Well, they will Sunday, if they aren't ironed out. Dallas isn't great, but they are significantly more talented than that Jaguars team. It'll be a truer test of where the Chiefs actually are. And that's exciting.

Unless they lose. Because losing sucks. And a loss will swing the pendulum from full homer after Jax to full chicken little.

Reid has already indicated that he's made attempts/inquiries about obtaining Alex Smith's services while at Philadelphia. And if I remember correctly, he had McNabb and Vick over the past decade plus. So, if that's any indication, I'd say that he's pretty sure that Alex Smith is a franchise level QB and fits what he envisions in a QB for his system.

So, I'm pretty sure that Reid wouldn't say anything remotely close to what you think he'd say.

In fact, I think Reid mentioned something about trying to get Smith into the Hall of Fame. That pretty much sums up how he feels about Smith as his QB.

Just curious what your feelings are about Bray.

PFF isn't a credible site

Exactly. This is a great example of why PFF fails. Hudson was fine in pass protection but run blocking was severely lacking in my opinion. I find it hard to imagine that Hudson was genuinely the best center in the NFL last week.

Damn people, don't falsely inflate your penises too big for a team that barely beat Pittsburg in preseason and only played one real game so far this year(if you call Jacksonville a game). I think we have a good team too but keep your shit together. We can be good, we should be good, but a lot of people had the same expectations last year. Let's see them string a few wins together before we start ****ing the prom queen.

ITs only been one game but your KC defense is completely legit. Also I am one of the people who thinks that Jacksonville is not as bad as people think. They are short on a couple skill positions, WR suspended and MJD hasnt played ball in a long time. GUS Bradley the new head coach is an Elite defensive signal caller. I think KC offense was better than i expected for a week 1 game. They are only going to get better. Alex is definitely going to be fine. Things are looking up quickly for KC
