bitch called the 5-0 on me tonight because we were having an argument. since she knows I would never hurt her she told them that I was trying to hurt myself. I got lucky. Cops talked to both of us and called BS and told her that she needed to go somewhere else. when they first showed up they said that they would have to take me to the looney bin for a 96 hour evaluation. luckily the officer was pretty understanding.

Okay. I've read the whole thread now, and I'm not exactly in a hurry to delete any of my previous posts.

Brando said it best himself. He can't be expected to turn off his feelings for her like a switch. She certainly hasn't earned those feelings with her recent behavior, obviously. But it's not like he can instantly will himself to stop loving her. In fact, if he could, then it must not have been real to him either.

She deserves to come home to changed locks and her belongings on the front lawn (by the curb if it's trash day). She has given up the right to be treated with kindness and understanding. But by continuing to try to be civil and to be as fair as possible, Brando is taking the high road and not sinking to her level. He is not in the wrong here. He's trying to make the best of a very bad situation. I think eventually he will look back and feel better about himself knowing that he did the right thing, even when she didn't deserve it.
