Riskiest Things You've Ever Said to a Cop?

"Your eyes look pretty red, son... you been smoking dope?"

"Your eyes look pretty glazed, officer... you been eating donuts?"

---

Another time a cop pulled me over and asked me if I was texting... I told him, "No... I was tweeting."

My friend was arrested for resisting arrest. I wasn't there, but he basically told the cop he was being wrongfully arrested and that he'd (eventually) own his trailer.

Downtown St. Louie, down by the Arch, rush hour traffic, pulled over for speeding by cycle cop.

Ask him politely if it was wise to be pulling me over in middle of rush hour. He told me to be quiet or he would find other reasons to write additional tickets.

I shut up. Not as brave as the other CPers here who would have told him off.

I rarely interact with cops, but one time I did when I was at my worst. We went on a marching band trip, and when we stopped for the night in St. Louis suburbs we let loose.

I had consumed, no joke, 1/2 of a 1.75L of vodka straight [by all rights I should have died that day], and other people were getting rowdy, so I'm standing around blitzed in the parking lot when a cop asked me how old I was. My 19yo brain managed to mumble out a '21' that didn't even convince drunk me, but he moved on. 15 minutes later, I was balls deep in a girl who had been dating a guy in my dorm hallway the entire semester, and 5 minutes after that I threw up in her hotel toilet.

Ah, youth.

that.

when I told them n o, I got the usual "well if you've got nothing to hide..." bullshit. I told him I'd let him search my car after he lets me search his bedroom.

went back and forth with his stupid arguments, telling me "Ok. well that's fine. I'll bring the dog and if he gives a hit we'll search. I'm not sure why you want to make this more difficult than it is". My reply "you need to read and understand the 4th ammendment".

we did not leave on good terms. Got a ticket for a license plate light being out. I contested it in court and got it thrown out.

After being pulled over

Me: "Hi officer. Did I do something wrong?"

Officer: "License, registration, and insurance card please"

Me: "Officer you look real familiar. What a minute, now I recognize you! I must say the picture of you on your nightstand doesn't do you justice but the lights were real low and your wife was doing her best to distract me."

Officer: "Step out of the car you are under arrest!"

I told a state cop near Chillicothe to finish his ****ing paperwork so I could drive to Macon. He was shocked. I said don't worry, do your job. I have lots of time and the judge will do his job.

He wrote me for not having stickers on my plates..they were in the car and got red assed when I said I have them Ill go put them on…he said no you will sit here…I said no I won't and did my stickers.

Judge 3 weeks later asked him what he was thinking as he did the paperwork..and asked if I got a turkey hunting near Macon.

What an asshole.

Ah, youth.
Oddly enough I had an interaction with four cops in Sacramento after consuming about 1.75 liters of vodka from two 1 liter bottles. I woke up in the hospital about twelve hours later, bruised and missing my shirt, with a catheter in me. Apparently I put up a pretty good fight from what the nurses said. The cops told them since they escorted the ambulance to the hospital. I wouldn't know. I don't even remember the cops getting there. I was 20 years old at the time.

I once chewed out a cop that gave me a speeding ticket. I told him a real cop would be out looking for realccriminals instead of stealing from hard working citizens just trying to do their job. He didn't do anything. Just walked away. Then I went to court and got it reduced to a non points violation and just paid like $25 court costs. Screw that pig. Traffic cops are scum. Especially in Ozark. Those pricks are always running speed traps to steal from drivers in their jurisdiction.
