The passing games will be vanilla, the RB's won't get enough carries to have flow. I'm interested in that segment of the game, but I don't put as much stock into it.
Sure hope Knile Davis plays better than last week. He couldn't find a hole to save his life. Reminded me of Mike Cloud.

If Smith does good, is a league leader in completion %, QB rating and leads the Chiefs to the playoffs this next season, I think that you should let one of us hit your in the leg with a baseball bat full swing or something similar. Maybe cut off your pinkie finger. That sounds relevant to you calling for Smith to get injured, don't you think?
No one is asking for 40 bombs every play.

When the plays are there, make the plays.

Teams have had a ton of film on Smith. So if all he can do is check shit down and play small ball, then why has he been so efficient over the last 2 years? Why would a team like the Saints cover the deep passes and give Smith what he excels at? Why not take away the short stuff, knowing that he can't do shit deep?

If Alex Smith is one of the top 10 QBs in yards this year, I'll ****ing film myself driving a thumbtack into my open palm.

Davis wasn't very impressive in his first game for sure, but remember he didn't play a whole lot the end of college and it was his first game under the lights. My hope is that the big kick return gives him some confidence and that translate to the position work of runnning and catching out of the backfield.

I'm also interested in seeing how the ILBs play this week and if Johnson takes a step up.
Safety depth is also something I hope to see shake out.

Any word on if Eric Fisher hand is still bothering him? Hope it's not an issue for the game.
