Lin and Parson's efficiency may not be very good, but please don't list them with Harden like that or even make the suggestion that Harden has "terrible numbers." If he has bad offensive numbers, so does the entire league outside of LeBron and Durant. Last edited by KC_Connection; 02-22-2013 at 02:48 AM.. |

If you want to really watch a guy with a high volume of shots and a low offensive efficiency, look no further than Rudy Gay.

He was every bit as good last year he just wasn't asked to do as much as he is now. Like I said he out grew the role. I think part of the reason the move was made was he wanted a bigger role, and I'm not blaming him. Obviously, he deserves it.

Like I said, I would have liked to have kept Harden. However, Martin is matching his production, and they will be a deeper team going forward. Maybe they have a better with Harden this year, but he didn't make the difference against the only team that kept them from a title last year, so why would he this year? Unless they used the roster differently he wouldn't. Believe me when I say that would not happen. Scott Brooks is a creature of habit. I find it amusing that people are so simplistic that they think Harden would be putting up the same numbers he's putting up in Houston, and Thunder would be beating everyone by 20 points a game of they had Harden. Harden was just as good last year, but he's now the man. This isn't fantasy basketball, there is only one ball.

BTW I'm not sure it's a positive or a negative. No one can really answer that question for a few more years.

Harden absolutely killed the Spurs during the playoffs last year. He reminded me of Ginobli or Robert Horry. I think the Thunder will miss that "assassin" type of player in the playoffs this year.

Or the Thunder can take the money owed to Harden and help keep the rest of the positions stacked and let Durant and Westbrook run things.

so they are in the EXACT same position seed wise as they were last year, just with different players. If you are going by the win share stat, and its very accurate because they are hovering around the 7th or 8th seed. |

These new jerseys are just silly looking. And why are the shorts a different shade of gold?

I think the real question about Harden isn't whether they should have kept him as the third wheel. The question is : should they have dealt Westbrook instead? I'm still not sure who I'd rather have, but Harden is making it a very difficult decision.

No. I'd much rather have Westbrook.
