Bills fans acknowledge hopelessness after watching SB

Porn posted in the predawn hours after the Chiefs victory in SBLVII. They also have a 100 post Zayne Anderson thread and dreams of poaching Wylie and Neon Deon Bush

Allen definitely needs to get smarter about that stuff. Mahomes would try to run over people in college. I was glad to see him show a smarter approach when he got into the NFL. Great coaching from Andy’s staff.

Allen's running ability is a huge part of what makes him a great offensive weapon, he's never going to willingly blunt that advantage.

Allen is a beast, elite QB.

The issue is that he is in a bucket with a couple guys like that including Burrow while Mahomes is the greatest QB talent ever.

Injury=Unwillingly blunt

It's kind of happened already.

Josh just doesn’t have the gigabytes that Mahomes, or Burrow have. He doesn’t seem to be able to compute what’s happening on the field as fast as needed sometimes. That’s when he takes off running.

Tre'Davious (I'm only 28 but looked washed after my ACL recovery) White to free up $8M?
Matt Milano (29) to free up $9M?

Do all of those and you're at $34M, which is enough to get the rookie class signed and make some smaller moves. It might not be enough to keep Edmunds.

They just don't have a lot of flexibility (and things could get PAINFUL down the road if they go this route).
They might be willing to risk it though. Miller and Diggs are not getting any younger. Better to swing for the fences now while your window is somewhat open and deal with the aftermath later, especially if your GM doesn't draft well. Look at how awful the Rams were this year. They went big and it paid off. Guarantee they would rather have a ring than be solid this year.

Not sure I would call him elite either. Until he has stats like Mahomes, he is just a distant second.
He is elite. He's not Mahomes who is ultra-elite, but he is still a Top 3-5 QB in the league.

This describes it best.

Allen and Burrow are elite.

Mahomes is beyond elite. "Transcendent" is the perfect word.

You can't compare other QB's the Mahomes at this point. In any other scenario, guys like Allen and Burrow would be winning championships and would absolutely be considered elite. But they have to go through Mahomes, who is literally the best athlete in the world right now.

I honestly believe that had Buffalo gone to SB 56 instead of Cincinnati they would have skull dragged the Rams. They were very good that postseason. Only problem was they had to face KC who was better and has their number when it matters most.

The Rams also have Sean McVay. The Bills have no one even close on their staff. Ken Dorsey got exposed pretty badly as a mid tier playcaller, especially late into the season/playoffs.
