0-4 preseason vs 4-0 preseason - Page 2

A year or two ago I saw a stat on teams that had these 2 records over the years, and the significance of those records in relation to making the playoffs.

I don't recall what those actual numbers are (I hope some network will put them on the screen this weekend), but 0-4 is not good. 4-0 on the other hand had like a 75-80% success rate in making the playoffs.

We are staring 0-4 straight in the face. It doesn't bode well by the numbers.

To a point you are correct. There were still a lot of starters on the field in the 3rd. Collins was QBing, but had a mostly 1st string cast around him. i think the defensewent a couple of series also in the 3rd.

titus-didn`t they go 0-4 in '95? thought i read that somewhere.

i still maintain that wins and losses don`t mean squat in pre-season.

If the starting O has almost the same stats as Titans Grbac will have plenty of confidence; regardless of whether we beat TB.

kcchiefs30: I really dont remember, but listening to the game on Saturday, Len Dawson said on more than one occasion that this team had never gone 0-fer in the preseason in its history and he didnt thing doing so was a good thing.
