We watched it last night....... I found it to be strange. Not anything that either of us liked at all.


Disappointed......... the build up was all for not.

Ill probably watch it sometime tonight. I recieved it in the mail from Blockbuster online yesterday. My wife is a huge Julia Roberts fan. I already told her she probably wouldnt like it though since its not anything like Pretty Woman 2 or Runaway Bride 2

It's really quite different from anything she's ever done before. It's much more honest and completely real. Watch her closely when you see the movie tonight. There are little things that most movies don't pay attention to that flesh out these characters more than just about anything I've ever seen. Portman cleaning his glasses off on the bus, Julia Roberts protecting her purse just slightly when she first meets Clive Owen at the aquarium... The movie is about relationships, but the DIRECTION and the ACTING are about creating those moments. IMO, this movie is about as close as you can get to perfect, and the more I think about it, the more I like it. The more I watch it, the better it gets. But if you're expecting a typical Julia Roberts flick (chalk full of emotion and clever plot devices to entertain the masses) you're barking up the wrong movie...
