Dump TinkerBell pick up Simon?

Since Bell has not actually hit anyone, maybe we can void his 7 yr contract. Missouri has a lemon law in effect to protect the consumer against fraud. Yes this is for cars, But since Bell, has undisclosed mechanical problems(Arthetic shoulder, ankle, groin, other shoulder, no confidence to hit someone) Maybe the Att. Gen will step in and void this horrible deal Petterson has stuck the Chiefs with. I wish!!

Maybe he can at least be put on PUP list with our other big time LB FA Barber, to get some cap relief to get the guy we still need.

Hey you cap gurus-what are our options to put him on IR or B release him outright-and what would be the cap hit this year and future years???

I thought he was a douche 7 days a week, I guess he's making improvement.

How about when posting a thread, we actually put some realism in the scenario this one has none. Halfcan is that friend we all have that we don't talk about.

By the way just so you know cutting Bell would cost us money not save us money, so your theory in the base of it, is flawed.

You guys sure have a lot of confidence in Bell for only playing what three games last year, plus the fact he didn't make one tackle all training camp. And now has missed 3 games and looks doubtful for St Louis.

And Iowain, I try to ignore your worthless azz-you must have a pretty pathetic life when all you do is get on a forum and call names. How about not reading my post if you can't respond without sounding like a serial killer with homo-erotic tendencies.
Yep. That's kind of what I'm saying. What I'm actually saying is they knew there might be some problems so they structured Bell's contract as such. But don't put me in with the folks who wanted him. I was totally AGAINST the signing from day one because I figured what's going on now would be the case all year. On a _efense that needs help. it wasn't worth the risk IMO. There's also a reason why the CHIEFS targeted Trotter and Hartwell first.

What the Bell signing did was it enabled them to sign others too rather than breaking the bank with one player. I understand the logic, but in any case, I would have stayed AWAY from Tinkerbell.

Who knows what's going to happen? I've been wrong many times before.

LOL I wasn't against the signing him at all and I still don't hate the guy. What I get sick of is the excuses. He had a groin problem last year, now this shoulder thing is coming up-arthetic is what it was called-meaning this could end up dogging him all year. Why can't they just come out and be honest with the fans. Carl wanted the big headlines on this guy as an A list player-when it sounds like by the 2 tiered bonus they knew what they had. That is the first I heard about the split bonus on this guy. I hope he plays in the opener and kicks some Jets azz. Preseason will be just a bad memory. Still wish we could get Simon though.

I hear ya and agree with your takes about the "bad memory" and all the B.S. excuses from both Bell and the coaching staff. However, he has ALWAYS had a shoulder problem, even in college. Plus, the the "Bell Watch" that is going on now in KC is exactly the thing that went on in Pittsburgh, where he got the name Kendrell "Hang-nail" Bell...

Get Simon? Simon who?

FWIW, I'll withhold judgement until he starts missing regular season games.

Is it a concern? Yes, definitely.
Is the daily Chicken Little routine necessary? Absolutely not.
