I buy it through a friend that has a license to sell it.

Not sure where you can get it around here.

I know they have it, he mentions it extensively in his lessons. I just have to find someplace stocking it that won't rip my head off. It sure seems like the optimum product to me. 0 being the best option for startup available, and less than 30 when at 212 degree OIL temp, is not enough protection.

I am convinced, more than ever after reading this article, the 20w recommendations from the mfrs. is to help meet gas mileage criteria. That was about the only thing I had right and that didn't come easy. Initially I thought it was because they made the engine tolerances tighter, but that was wrong.

The Mobile 1 website says 0w20 works fine for oil temperatures up to 400 degrees. I can't imagine my engine oil getting anywhere close to that.

Of course they say that. If you are really interested, I highly recommend reading the article I linked. I know it is long, but it is worth it IMO.
If you take the time, I honestly don't see how anyone would ever use 20 again.

I think it really depends on the brand. I have had zero trouble ever with 0w20, but I don't use shit oil brands, either.
