I'm shocked...never thought I'd see the day.

Game drops March 29th.

Hopefully they include the Par 3 course and contest in as well.

Either way this game is definitely a must buy now.

Picked it up today as well. So far it has been a lot of fun using the Playstation Move. It seems to capture your swing very well. I like to play golf but I suck, always pushing the ball off to the right. Doing the same thing in the game

I'm quickly tired of the caddie. Took some getting used to on the putting. Much more difficult to putt. Still fairly easy to go at the pins though.

I've found that the best way to get better quicker is to put most of your XP points towards putting.

I was hovering between E and -2 on the first two events, then just assraped TPC San Antonio for a -9 in the first Nationwide event.

I was the opposite. Shot -6 Amateur, then -6 -7 Nationwide then +1 in Q school.

How much is the dlc for the 9 courses that are not included? Wii has it with all courses but the PS3 and Xbox360 you have to pay to get.

I read that if you don't buy the dlc when that course comes up in your career mode it has you skip the event which sucks.

The second part is true. The first part I don't know how much. Was going to look into it this afternoon.

Me too. Game gets harder when you reach the PGA, IMO.

I didn't write this, but kinda funny.

Most gamers have a love-hate relationship with downloadable content – we love when a new map pack comes out for our favorite game, but hate when content is removed by publishers so that it can be sold at a premium price. With development costs soaring, release date DLC is often seen as a necessary evil, however, for the latest Tiger Woods game, it’s hard to argue that EA is justified.

With the game releasing tomorrow in Europe and on Friday in the UK, EA has released an incredible 189.48€/$267.16 worth of DLC for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters, with 52 different items:

Adidas Proshop Pack (£0.79/€0.99)
Banff Springs Golf Course (£3.19/€3.99)
Birdie Pack (£11.99/€14.99)
Bridgestone Proshop Pack (£0.79/€0.99)
Callaway Proshop Pack (£3.19/€3.99)
Callaway Sponsorship (£3.19/€3.99)
Cleveland Proshop Pack (£2.39/€2.99)
Cleveland Sponsorship (£2.39/€2.99)
Cobra Proshop Pack (£1.59/€1.99)
EA Sports Proshop Pack 1 (£0.79/€0.99)
EA Sports Proshop Pack 2 (£0.79/€0.99)
EA Sports Proshop Pack 3 (£0.79/€0.99)
EA Sports Sponsorship (£2.39/€2.99)
Eagle Pack (£19.99/€24.99)
Emerald Dragon (£3.19/€3.99)
Footjoy Proshop Pack (£0.79/€0.99)
Greek Isles (£5.49/€6.99)
Grip Item Pack (£1.59/€1.99)
Harbour Town Golf Links (£3.19/€3.99)
Hazeltine National Golf Club (£3.19/€3.99)
The Highlands (£3.19/€3.99)
Loudmouth Golf Proshop Pack (£0.79/€0.99)
Mizuno Proshop Pack (£1.59/€1.99)
Nike Clothing Pack 1 (£0.79/€0.99)
Nike Clothing Pack 2 (£0.79/€0.99)
Nike Proshop Pack 1 (£2.39/€2.99)
Nike Proshop Pack 2 (£2.39/€2.99)
Nike Proshop Pack 3 (£2.39/€2.99)
Nike Proshop Pack 4 (£2.39/€2.99)
Nike Sponsorship (£5.49/€6.99)
Oakley Proshop Pack 1 (£0.79/€0.99)
Oakley Proshop Pack 2 (£0.79/€0.99)
Oakmont Country Club (£3.19/€3.99)
Pinehurst (£3.19/€3.99)
Ping Proshop Pack (£2.39/€2.99)
Ping Sponsorship (£2.39/€2.99)
Prototype Starter Suit (£3.99/€4.99)
Quagmire Golf Proshop Pack (£0.79/€0.99)
River Course At Blackwolf Run (£3.19/€3.99)
Riviera Cc Golf Course (£3.19/€3.99)
Shaft Item Pack (£1.59/€1.99)
Sheshan Golf Club (£3.19/€3.99)
Spyglass Hill Golf Course (£3.19/€3.99)
Sundog Proshop Pack (£0.79/€0.99)
Taylormade Proshop Pack (£0.79/€0.99)
Taylormade Sponsorship (£2.39/€2.99)
The Els Club (£5.49/€6.99)
The Predator (£3.19/€3.99)
The TPC Blue Monster At Doral (£3.19/€3.99)
Torrey Pines Golf Course (£3.19/€3.99)
TPC Boston (£3.19/€3.99)
Wolf Creek, Nv (£3.19/€3.99)

That doesn’t even include EA’s Online Pass (£6.29/€7.99).

Some of the DLC simply unlocks portions of the game that you would otherwise have to play to unlock – a welcome addition for those with less time or gaming prowess, but, with all the DLC nearly costing $300, the price of unlocking all the game, and owning all the extras does seem exorbitantly expensive.

Have EA gone too far, or are they perfectly justified with the amount of DLC they have released? Let us know in the comments below.

Just read

4000 MS points worth of dlc courses. Maybe it would have been hard to fit them on the disc but still $50 worth of dlc on day 1.

Dang 60 for game and 50 for extra courses to go with it. Damn you EA!!!

thats cheaper than the 59.99 in stores.

You can also get free shipping if you choose 5-8 days.

I was a bit presumptuous when talking about the difficulty. I'm -9 through the first 9 in my first PGA event.

I just turned the caddie off and went back to my normal flag hunting self.

Yeah, I noticed that as well.

I'm curious to see how much more difficult the majors are. I've been told that the difficulty goes up dramatically - mainly because of the flag placements and the caddie going full reerun on occasion reading greens.

I've won my first 3 PGA events, getting ready to play Augusta for the first time.
