Either way, it doesn't matter. They either knock off Auburn and rake it in or they lose and play in the cotton bowl. |

While they may have been ranked at #22 when we played them, they aren't now. And remember they just beat Clemson who was #6 in the BCS. I have believed all along our only road to a decent Bowl was the CCG and a win there. If we lose to Auburn badly, don't even look for the Cotton Bowl to take us. |

I'm not saying USC is a terrible team, but they aren't Auburn.

Auburn is the flukiest good team I've seen in a long time...they are so one dimensional and have a Golden horseshoe jammed up their collective asses. |

Sure they had a round of fluke wins, but they got the job done. SC failed to seal the deal in at least one game they should of won. I'll take the overachiever over a choker.
I do think you're underestimating what they've accomplished and while SC probably has more talent, they fail to capitalize on it while the Gusbus has installed and ran a very effective system perfectly. Either way it really doesn't matter, as Alabama being ranked 1 spot higher than Mizzou today means nothing in the final standings. |

What Malzahn has done in his first year at Auburn is nothing short of a miracle.

SC is the better team between the two and Missouri, starting a freshman QB and missing their best CB, lost to them in double OT. I think Missouri will get more love from the voters and polls if they beat Auburn in the SEC Championship on a "neutral" field. |

Their season just shows what can happen over a limited sample and moving from awful to competent coaching.

The biggest mistake they made was not utilizing their QB's mobility. That is a situation tailor made for a sprint option passing play.
