I would expect that kind of dumbassery from others, but not from you.

You know damn well what I meant.
There is a difference between prospects and players and it's not just flippancy. That's why Mecca's assertion that Russell would go high in every draft has merit, just like Ryan Leaf would. You can't take NFL performance and retroactively project how they will play as pros.

Thank you.

If the Chiefs traded Gonzalez and drafted a running back from Liberty, I'd say someone better call homeland security on my ass because Arrowhead stadium's gonna need some more renovations after I'm through.

Accomplishes the same thing, right?
#1) Google "stick in ass removal"
#2) Consider the difference in relative value. You can get a better prospect at an impact position in the 2nd round than you can in the third.

I understand completely what you are saying but just because this guy comes from a school named Liberty doesnt mean that he wont be a pretty good player in this league.

Not bad, man. Liked the mock a lot. The effort in it, if nothing else.

3rd and a 5th for LJ is fairy tale land, though. Even Cincy's not that dumb.

I stopped reading when you traded Tony G. We should NOT ever trade Tony G!

Not saying that we should, but Herm's dumbass self will probably look for offers for him so that he can add more draft picks for his already shitty team. If it were up to me there's not a chance in hell that I would even trade Tony G.

This is ****ing dumb AND without merit.

Tony Gonzalez went to Carl, asking for a trade. Carl did not oblige.

Since that time, the offense has gone from scoring 12 points per game to 24 points per game. The offense will only continue to improve in 2009 with the addition of higher quality offensive lineman and the maturity of Thigpen, Bowe, Charles, Cottam, Albert, Franklin and Niswanger.

And furthermore: NEVER TRADE A HALL OF FAMER!!!!!!!!

I love how Niswanger's total garbage when you're arguing with me, but he's a potential building block that's maturing when he's arguing with royr.

Are you referring to me? When did I EVER say he was garbage?

I've stated on several occasions he's much better suited at RIGHT GUARD, not center.

But garbage? I did not say that. Ever.

I wonder if people realize how hard trading down in the first can be. Especially in the top 5. Teams are rarely willing to give up all the picks and fork out the dough for a guy who has never played a snap in the league. Of course from time to time it does happen (obviously Eli Manning), but the risk is more than a lot of GM are willing to take.

Now is a bad idea to try and trade down? Of course not if the price is right. But with Carl, the price is rarely right...which is not always a bad thing IMO. He just wants make sure if we pass on a top 5 draft pick we get adequate compensation.
