Got a fantasy football question for ya...

Not sure if the Lounge is the right area for this but here goes...

I just found out I got the 4th overall pick in my redraft league. It's 6 pts for all TD's and ppr. Obviously CJ and ADP will be gone with the first two picks but what is everyones opinion on who follows them? Should I go with MJD or Ray Rice depending on who gets picked at #3 or do I go with Brees or Rodgers at the 4 spot?

I also think Gore will have a big year this year cause of the upgrades to the O-line and the fact that they get to play the Seahawks, Rams, and Cardinals twice along with the AFC West and our powerhouse run d

Our starting lineup requirements are 1 QB, 1RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1K, 1 LB, 1DB, 1Flex (RB/WR/TE).

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks

Btw, you didn't go to the '03 Bills game by any chance? We sat next to a couple of guys from Quebec that got my gf at the time drunk on cognac .
That was me!!! She said you guys like to swing!!!

Who is AD? Is AP/AD the new ADP???

I would have thought the because we only need to start one RB that it puts less value on the RBs and more on WRs and QBs?

My buddy is picking at #3 and he's pretty high on Rodgers since our QBs get 6pts for all TDs. I might have Rice and MJD both sitting there at #4.

You're not worried about McGahee vulturing all the goal line tds again this year? If I did have to make a decision at #4 between MJD and Rice I think I'd have to pick MJD only because I feel he's safer and doesn't have any competition from other backs stealing his carries. I do think Rice has a higher ceiling and Baltimores offense should only be better this year with Boldin in the mix.

Fantasy football magazines are a waste of money. There are a lot of people out there (sports writers) that think they know what they are talking about but most of them do not. They may be pretty good with the early rounds of the draft but lack insight on the middle to later rounds. These are the rounds that win you the championships. Fantasyguru.com is a pretty good site to get info on players you should get in the later rounds.
