If the Titans abandon Locker
http://nfl.si.com/2013/12/08/tenness...chris-johnson/
Would you, as the arm-chair GM, bring him in and give him a chance? I have to say, I am normally against picking through other teams garbage, but I think Locker can be salvaged and would even be a good fit for Andy Reid. Now, I haven't like, broken down his film from this year, but he seemed to play pretty well this year. Thoughts? assume this does not preclude the Chiefs from investing in a QB in the draft, as well. |

Cleveland, Jax, Oakland, NYJ, Washington, Arizona, Tampa Bay, (although I really like Glennon, hes not better yet) Cincinnatti, *Dalton is trash* Tennesse, (no, locker, is not better) Houston Minny, Baltimore, NYG, SF, Buffalo, Miami, That's 16 right there. Who THIS YEAR, have not had a better qb than Alex Smith. So, forgive me for disagreeing. And lets get it out of the way, ELI, SUPER BOWLS, JOE FLACCO, SUPER BOWL. That's the past. Neither has been anywhere near worthy of that praise this year. So before you go all TROLL TROLL, STUPID TROLL, DUMBASS **** FACE, reerun on me. Understand, we are only talking about THIS YEAR.

Smith is a very solid QB that fits this system extremely well. He's only 29, in his prime and had solid production, especially when the rest of the offense started to jell. Add to that he was working with two guys off the street at the TE position for a lot of the year, some bad play at both OT and OG and a very below average WR group as a whole. I think Smith had a very solid year all things considered and will most likely get the chance to build and increase on his numbers next season as the offense and coaching staff become even more integrated. For what Reid runs, I'm not sure that there are more than a handful of QB's that I'd take over Smith at this point. That's not ballwashing by any measure. It's called being objective. |

You cant objectively say that Joe Flacco, or Eli Manning, have played better than Alex Smith has. Shrugs. just because im an Alex Smith guy, doesn't make me a blind homer, or a ball washer. It makes you, painted into a corner, with your heels dug in, and, and idiot. Not my fault.

Put either of those QBs in KC. Do they play better or worse than Smith? Dumbass... Alex Smith, statistically worse in every category vs either of those QBs over their careers and has no ring but he's a better QB /49erfanswingingfromalex'snutsfakechiefsfanbutimreallyabrownsfan |

I am the guy who stated that Alex Smith had a better season than Joe Flacco, and Eli Manning. They have stable situations, dynamic weapons, Alex Smith played on a new team, new system, less talent, and put up better numbers. Yet, I make NO SENSE. Oh, and to your assertion that those qbs would do better with the Chiefs, than Alex Smith. BASED ON WHAT? Eli Manning has Reuben Randle, Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz.. You think he would play better with BOWE, MCCLUSTER, AND DONNIE AVERY? Yet, I make no sense.

So nice of you to name off all those receivers and fail to mention the Chiefs #1 receiver...

It just confirms how shitty Smith is. But, lets pretend Smith has shown the ability to elevate his receivers. What's a 10 yard pass and outside the hashes? /Alex Smith |

But, in fairness saying that Alex Smith played better than Flacco, or Eli, is more talking about how SHITTY they played this year, more so rather how WELL alex smith played. He played okay. He set career highs, but still, he went a month without a td pass. But, hes not the dog shit you want to portray him to be.
