The contradictory reports on soy are a great example of the nutritional pendulum that Pollan talks about in his books.

Exactly, which is pretty much Bittman's whole philosophy on everything.
The taking any new nutritional study/information to the extreme is the cause of the swings of the pendulum.

Is that 1-2 cans per week? I've been eating 3-4 per week. Maybe I should cool it... Also, I read that albacore tuna has more mercury than chunk light. |

Same with LSD. Some is fine, actually fantastic. Too much though, and you are jumping through a two story plate glass window with nothing on but a Superman cape.....err.... so I've been told.

Tried new bench press form today. Seemed to put more pressure on my shoulder and made it hurt worse... and I went way lighter than normal.

I renewed my license at the end of April and fudged on my weight by almost 20lbs. I'm under my licensed weight now. Low side of the 270's, and if I work hard I'll get into the 260's next week. It's so ****ing awesome wearing 2XL shirts that are getting too big for me. It's crazy.

Anything wrong with boiling my water before adding the protein powder? I want a little faux hot chocolate.

Good workout today, 23 hrs into my fast. Can't wait for 9:00 though, I'm going to eat a nice small bowl of spaghetti.
OT: There was a guy at the gym today working out in cargo shorts, button up shirt, and loafers. Instead of water, he was drinking pepsi. Really, WTF. How do you drink pepsi at the gym? Posted via Mobile Device |
