Problems with Superman Ultimate edition DVD...

What did you guys think of the Donner cut of Superman II? I was disappointed. I had been led to believe it was virtually an entirely different film. It wasn't. A few scenes here and there, and an ending that didn't make sense. The Marlon Brando scenes were nice, but other than that....

Plus I guess the audio mix on the first movie wasn't the true theatrical mix... I got them just so I have the "official" set, and it was free, so it wasn't like it cost me anything. |

Is this the same remix that was done for the 2001 release? I actually own that one. I like how they remixed the sound and made it louder, but i know alot of purists were upset.... I havent seen the Donner Cut yet...
