Reading comprehension. Make it your friend.
There are two other options I'd prefer for our BACKUP position. -Sign a vet. -Draft our own guy. Cassel's fine as a backup. That's what he is, and his salary drops to a reasonable amount for one. I think he's toxic and will ultimately be cut, and I'm fine with that. I'm great with that. But giving up a pick for someone else's trash for our backup? Yeah, no. |

On the other hand, which world is this where "Cassel's fine as a backup?" I can't COMPREHEND how anybody would even trust cassel to test toilets because he craps his pants so often, much less be our backup. |

As for Cassel as a backup, why in the world would we pay $7.5M for him to be a backup? There are more talented veterans out there. I still wonder if the Chiefs will look into Kolb (as a backup). Not saying that's a great decision, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Cards cut ties with him and there's the obvious Reid connection. I feel like he could be had at a high-priced veteran contract. |

How is it the same thing you always do? You always trade for Nick Foles?
What is all this 6th round stuff? The guy has 1st round value. You NEED a QB. You don't see that? Philly is not going to trade him for a 6th round pick and you NEED a QB and he's really good. What is up with the people who wouldn't make that trade? |

We are tired of getting other teams castoffs. Geno smith has the potential to be great. Go visit the geno smith thread. |

If we draft Geno Smith, I don't care what they do with the rest of the draft picks this year.
If we moved our third for him, I'd be totally fine with that. There was a time when he was in the conversation for a first round pick. Geno Smith Nick Foles Ricky Stanzi Get a corner with the 3rd round comp pick we should get for Carr and a safety with our second rounder ....then a MLB with our fourth and let's roll. |
