Reid would have went for two
Go for one or two?
Reid left no doubt what he would have done had the Chiefs scored a touchdown in the final seconds and drawn within 24-23 last Sunday at Denver. Play for overtime with an extra point or go for the win with a two▪ -point conversion. “I was going to go for two,” Reid said on Friday, with no hesitation. He punts from the 50 yard line with a yard to gain.
He wasn't going for 2.

No, that was just a TD dive with :02 on the clock or something instead of a FG.
Same difference though. Go for the win instead of the tie.

I feel like it was not going for two but rather, going for it with only enough time left to run one more play. A fg would have tied it. I also don't recall it being a list season at that point but you may be right. Since I was at that game, you would think I would remember better but I don't.

It was not a lost season. It was the 2005 year, which was better than any Chiefs team we've had since.
LJ caught a screen pass and broke a long gainer, getting tackled right near the goal. We had the ball at the 1 with two seconds left down three. Vermeil went for the win and LJ dove in over the left side of the line. That was the best Chiefs game I ever went to.

That Falcon game happened after Game 1 of the 2004 WS. I went to a baseball field Sunday morning with a friend and probably threw about 100 pitches, almost all breaking stuff. I think I seriously ****ed up my elbow, because to this day, any time I throw a baseball I get a zinging feeling of numbness shooting down my ring and pinkie finger.
