Hi,

I'd like to know what beans you enjoy? How you make them? What side-items you include. Condiments atop their finished product.

Just go on and on for months about nothing but beans, here.

I love beans and they're super healthy, affordable and act as a virtual meat.

Anyone ever use ham base?

Anyhow - go on about your bean preferences!

Today I'm fixing Great Northerns and Pintos / Medley - Ham hock as well

It's the weirdest thing. It's built solid. The exterior is stainless steel, and the crock is thick and heavy. But the handles and the power knob were made out of the cheapest plastic you ever saw. Barely one step above the packaging you have to cut from around everything you buy. I still have the pieces in a little box somewhere, but never felt the urge to glue them back together.
