Trade Deadline
With their now being that extra WC spot and everyone being bunched up, there's gonna be alot of executives deluding themselves into thinking they have a shot.

Even with that said, I've never understood why more teams don't sell. Take the Raiders for instance and Josh Jacobs. He's clearly going elsewhere this offseason, so they probably think they could get a 3rd round comp pick. If the Saints beat them this weekend, why wouldn't you try to move him?

The Saints should trade anything that's not bolted down at this point, but I digress.

I know teams don't like to shit on their fanbase and sell because of tickets and blah blah blah.

Why dont' more teams sell though?

The Panthers are such a trash organization. That's exactly the sort of moves they need to making to generate some draft capital. I live near Davidson NC, so I see and hear it all first hand. Really makes a guy appreciate the current Chiefs regime.

Even if none of those guys are world beaters....they would all help. Plus they're relatively young and could be offered a new deal here if they succeed in the system.

I like Chaisson, and he fits the Veach mold.

I don't think Jacksonville has ever just used him as a 43 rush down specialist, or at least not committed to it. I'd flip a Day 3 pick to them, maybe even a 4th, to see if I could get at least that level of use out of him.

He's on IR right now, though, with a meniscus issue. Not sure they can trade him.

I'd be good with Key or Rasheem Green. Either helps replace some of what KC lost with Wharton going down.
