When does Smith lose the team?

In his defense the play calling the last few weeks, particularly on 3rd down has been the worst I have ever seen. Also, the OLine can't block a good HS team right now for shit.

That being said, he is consistently bailing out way too early and missing way too many open receivers. The times where he needs to just let the ball fly and see what happens stopped after game 5.

So to the point, watch the int at the end of the Bills game and look at Kelce's reaction. Typical to a point but after the calling out after the Giants loss, you have to wonder when the offense is going to start tearing itself apart?

On the last 2 drives of the Bills game, he missed a wide open Wilson for 4 yards on 4th and 4 and went deep to Hill and threw incomplete. Then on the last play of the game for KC, Kelce is open and he threw into double coverage.

I think there are a lot of reasons for a civil war on the offense, from the coaching, to play calling to blocking ...but Smith has shit his pants the last several games and even those who have tried to defend him can no longer do it.

Exactly. But Andy knows just how good Patrick is and he doesn’t want any of that lethal play to come out because well ........He wants to avoid conflict. Andy has that personality of avoiding conflict at all costs and why you get that it’s on me fellas every week. And I think he knows he has Clark in his back pocket and can afford to still set Patrick.

Alex looked like a beaten dog today. Had his head down on the sidelines quite a bit and looked dejected based on his body language. Very little interaction with his teammates. Would not be surprised to see him benched next week.

It's possible that they honestly don't think Mahomes is ready. We do because we want him to be, but we are not in practices, film room, meetings etc. He may just not be ready (in their eyes) yet.

Good for them that they show maturity and leave before they would say something that my get them in trouble and as always actions speak louder than words. And these actions will say a lot more to Reid and the front office in a better way.

Who knows brother? You may very well be right. But reports are that he’s been lighting it up in practice and yes practice is practice and when you’re starting QB has played as badly as he has been in the last six weeks and you watch this kid in practice knowing that he is not going to be starting you get very subconsciously depressed that eventually rears its head on the conscious surface and we’re seeing that play out as we speak definitely for the last four weeks.

I quit reading a person's take when they say the play calling is bad. When you have receivers open as consistently as Andy's plays do, and the QB is not throwing to them, that's not on play calling. That's on a shitty mother****ing cock gobbling QB.

3rd and 2 and you run a play that throws the ball 4 yards behind the line...yeah, that's bad play calling

If Smith is the better option, I fear Mahomes isn't the answer either. The bar is pretty low right now.

Who threw the ball? Was it a designed screen or was it QB choice of options? I didn't watch the 2nd half. I know so far this season I've seen a bunch of ****ing reeruns posting about bad play calling when it simply has not been, but rather has been Alex sucking ****ing dick.

To Reid Mahomes is like that smoking hot chick that just moved in on your block that none of your school buddies know anything about in which you go introduce yourself and you definitely hit it off but you’ve been dating average Jane for three years and the prom is two weeks away and you so want to break up with average Jane to take this hot chick that you know will cause very hard feelings.

In all honesty, he should be ready by now because in all intents and purposes PMII has had a 11 game season to prepare.
