We'll need to see more games to see if he can do it. More games that don't involve checkdowns and supposed vanilla gameplanning
I'd prefer if you didn't speak for all chiefs fans.

You're totally satisfied with what you saw from Alex Smith last week, then? You totally fine if he never improves on that in his entire time as a Chief?

Tis a gift to be simple...

A TD in 100% of the drives he plays in? Sure, I'll take that....

Alex is going to take care of the ball which hurt y'all a lot last year. And he will also make smart choices. Believe it or not most niner fans still root for Alex. So you will have this years your beloved KC fans cheering for KC and also 70% of niners fans wishing Alex the best! Good luck tonight! You guys have a great fan base and I'm happy to root for Alex.. But just not tonight
Thanks Bro! I look forward to him beating Kaepernick in the Super Bowl in a year or two.

And this is why I hate most Chiefs fans.

"We went 10-6? That ain't bad. I don't care how we got there! Don't tell me about the schedule, coaching, or the ways we generated points! Don't talk to me about the feasibility of replicating that success for the long-term future! I don't want to hear about any glaring weaknesses on the team that will cause it to fantastically implode on itself in the playoffs and against really really tough teams! All that matters is we did it this one time! Woo ****ing hoo! The haters and drafturbators on this board can suck my dick! They were wrong! Hahahahahaha!"

If you guys falter during the first 8 games of the season, expect to see a typical "Alex Smith injury" that'll keep Alex out for the year and avoid him any criticism that can come his way.

Think of it this way:

In last week's game, Alex Smith solved an algebra problem using the guess-and-check method. That's a totally valid way of solving equations, but it requires very little skill, and when far more complicated math problems start showing up, he's gonna have to demonstrate that he can solve those as well. And eventually there's going to come a time where guess-and-checking is a practically futile way to go about solving these equations.

If you're the algebra teacher, you don't say, "Good job, Alex! You got the right answer! Looks like I don't need to be concerned about you at all for the upcoming math test!" You are going to demand that he show his work, and if he can't, you're going to become pretty skeptical that he knows enough about algebra to get a passing grade on the test.

For now, this isn't a big deal. They're practice problems. But eventually, we're gonna have to see what he's really made of, and what Alex did last week demonstrates practically ZERO algebra skills necessary for beating tough teams in the NFL.

I want to see if he knows how to do algebra. Some of the people on this board don't give a ****. The correct answer is the correct answer. A TD is a TD. What more do you ****ing want?
