And they got one WC win to show for it. Think talk of that wasn't the most accurate.

It’s okay to acknowledge a rival team got a great player, even if it is the ****ing Broncos.

He could always bust. There’s no such thing as a sure thing in the draft. I remember how pumped the Jets fans were to grab Vernon Gholston. Or remember Aaron Curry from Wake? Dee Milliner from Bama? Yes, it seems like a great player fell into their laps, but like every player in the draft, it’s not a sure thing. |

I clearly said Chubb will be a great player overall. My point was that he doesn’t have the upside of an elite pass rusher. |

I said Chubb was their best scenario days before the draft and I stand by it. Denver got a lot better in their pass rush and that’s not good for us.

i have been a fan this squad for almost fifty years and i don't recall anyone we have ever had who was a better drafter than Dorsey. a nightmare on contract issues but a very good drafter. of course, if you want to post only his defensive picks and not the picks on offense you can create an argument ,although a misleading one. of course another way to make a misleading argument is to decide retroactively , and without any evidence, that reid/veach are somehow responsible for all of the good dorsey picks, but that somehow dorsey was miraculously in charge of the failed picks. finally , if he is "bad" because his picks left Chubb for the Donks i would suggest that he should not be making his selections with the Chiefs , or us , their fanbase in mind. we dont have to hate everyone who leaves

I think Dorsey was a good draft GM, he just wasn't very good at 2nd contracts. A lot of people are still butthurt about Fisher, but, given the other ways he could have gone, it looks like a pretty fair bit of drafting to me. There's no denying he was a master at picking up other teams castoffs and making lemonade out of lemons.

I kinda get the Mayfield pick. It's kinda about the attitude and wanting to be there. The other QBs had an attitude of, "yeah, I'll play for Cleveland, I'll play for anybody." Mayfield had an attitude of, "**** yes. I want to play for Cleveland. I want to go where nobody succeeds and shove that shit up everyone's ass. I've been doing it my whole life. How about a little **** you attitude to match your new offensive coordinator."
Dorsey never gave a shit what anyone else thought was a reach. |

He was not scared of the Donks taking him. The problem with a trade down was that teams 6-10 did not want a QB. So they do not want to give up much to move up and if you go to 11 or 12 you do not get Ward.

I don’t care what Dorsey does. Can someone tell me why I care?
