Well, that could be one inference; the second (and most logical, to me) is that instead of firing the guy who held the players accountable...maybe fire the guy who gave $63M to a barely servicable backup QB and spends all his time ****ing with candy wrappers in between cutting and resigning those mediocre TEs and SSs he loves so much??

I would've fired Pioli and found a GM who would work with my coach and just get him a decent ****ing QB...
