If you had to eat the same meal every day for the rest of your life...

What would it be?

Topic of conversation at work today that got pretty interesting.

There's obviously a lot of good choices but if you had to pick only one full meal... what is it. It took me a little bit to come up with the things I get the least sick of because you're going to get sick of them anyway in this scenario.

Buffets and "one of everything" is off limits... cheating. Also don't say "Mexican" Simply Red. One meal... salad/appetizer... main course... drink... dessert

I'd have...

-A salad with iceberg lettuce, Italian dressing, green olives, shredded Monterray Jack cheese, bacon bits and dill pickle

-A grilled cheeseburger on a wheat bun with dill pickle slices, mustard, A-1 and a couple jalepeno slices... corn on the cob, buttered and salted... buttery brussel sprouts... as my main course

-Iced tea, unsweetened

-a chocolate shiver with mini M&M's for dessert from TCBY

I'd skip the dessert sometimes but it would be available. I guess that's another stipulation... you don't have to eat everything every time but what you pick is all that's available.

Go/discuss... be as specific as possible.

I would try to find some kind of completely tasteless gruel. Because the same taste of anything will make you want to throw up eventually,

I'm willing to bet that the tasteless gruel would have you wanting to throw up by the third day... but I see what you did there.

I thought sushi was healthy... no? I don't mind sushi but the seaweed it's usually wrapped in makes me gag from a texture standpoint.

Casino cash: $
Apps: Crab cakes, oysters on the half-shell (shucked by somebody else)
Course 1: Crawfish bisque
Course 2: Wedge salad loaded heavily with bacon, cheese, sprouts, and slathered in a fruity vinaigrette.
Course 3: Surf & Turf -Kobe beef tenderloin with pan-seared scallops and lobster tail. Sides: Cheesy spinach, sweet potato, bacon-wrapped asparagus, peaches and cream Iowa corn on the cob
Desert: Snickers pie and pistachio ice cream
Drink: Since I'd like some variety I'm going to cheat and say Sam Adams Seasonal even though none of them are near the top of my list, Sam Adams does have a healthy seasonal offering that offers plenty of drinkable variety. Is that totally cheating?

It is cheating but the specifics beg forgiveness. Nice.

It's healthy, but if it's all you ate you'd have mercury poisoning in no time.
