He IS capable and when he's feeling confident within the system he's more than a game manager. He will make more of the throws you mentioned above than any other QB that has played for the Cheifs in recent years.

I'm a 49ers fan but that does not make me a homer for our old QB. I will say though I have always rooted for the guy because he's someone you'd like to see succeed. His path to where he is now is a long journey of debacles! many of which were out of his control. With that said,I believe Harbaugh made the right decision for the 49ers when he decided on going with CK7.

Kaep wasn't stuck with the pre-2011 Crabtree. That Crabtree was the D-bag that held out, practiced lazy (remember VD tearing into Crabtree at practice?)... tipped multiple passes up for INTs.. tried to run before securing the ball and had em bounce off his shoulders... ran the wrong routes.

Yeah, Alex had to deal with the crappy Crabtree. By the time just prior to Kaep coming in, Crabtree was plugged in and a real weapon.

The catch was great. But it was a 7 yard throw to the tight end down the middle. That's Alex's bread and butter.

You must be getting irritated with the Alex love on this board, because the catch was the easiest part of the play. It hit Vernon in the numbers so he could body catch it. And it was more like a 20 yard pass.

I don't care about the Alex hate but dogging him when he does something well is childish.

Just try to take a look at where the ball was when alex released it.
