The Chiefs got a guy with some awesome potential. Romeo Crennel will turn him into a legitimate nose tackle by the end of the year. See, I felt kind of homerish typing that out, but it's nowhere near the level of homer I'm used to reading from you. |

I just don't expect a lot from 6th and 7th round picks. We drafted a DE in the 7th round named Jeremy Beal who had 29.5 sacks (10 more than Justin Houston had in his career) and 57.5 tackles for loss during his college career at Oklahoma but you haven't heard me pimping him out.

I thought Beal was a good pick. Didn't expect him to last quite that long. His motor and work ethic might push him beyond his athletic limits, like it did at OU. |

His 5.14 40 time with a 1.78 10 yard split, weak vert of 28.5, weak broad of 8.83 all killed his draft stock.

I can honestly and quite unashamedly say I don't know near enough about scouting NTs to answer that. Fortunately that doesn't have anything to do with scouting DEs and OLBs and its easy to identify what teams look at in combine numbers when scouting them as well. He also got destroyed at the Senior Bowl, between the bad performance at the combine and the Senior Bowl he was bound to drop. So he did poorly on both the "how well do you play football" and the "how good of an athlete are you" tests.

To be honest, the Miller pick even if he does suck against the run and is under utilized as a pass rusher isn't going to be as big of a reach as Moore was. Safety class this year was awful, he basically grades out like Major Wright who went in the third last year. Not a good year to be looking for safety help really.

Denver is going to continue to have problems against the run. But hey we have some decent pass rushers while Charles takes it to the house from where ever he chooses.

Jamaal Charles' speed will be neutralized by the speed of our linebackers. Von Miller is fast enough to chase him down from behind.
