Okay. You're not even worth arguing with. You just aren't.
but again, here are the facts of said game:

Kyle Williams' two turnovers directly led to the Giants winning the game.

At no point was Alex Smith a Kyle Williams' muffed punt away from a Super Bowl. He had 4 shots to lead his team to a Super Bowl. He produced zero first downs.

Again, Alex Smith was ONE muffed punt away from getting another drive where he may or may not have led his team to the Super Bowl.

This is simply not arguable. This is simply fact.

Not a good game for sure. I only have a pissy reaction to when years ago I saw people claimed Giants won because they had real franchise QB and 49ers didn't. Eli threw 2 shoulda coulda INTs that he tends to do but luck was on his side.

And QBR is flawed. Smith got the same 29 in a game he went 14/23 140 1-1.
And the INT was one of the worst in his career. In the 4th quarter up 4 on 3rd and Goal he threw the pick in the endzone. On that 1 play SEA doubled it's chance to win. They went from 14% to 28%.

That is the kind of day I assume a QBR down with the likes of Weeden or Pryor.

Or we can believe Joe Flacco had more expected points added on runs than Alex Smith in 2013. And was actually closer to Russell Wilson and Terrelle Pryor in that category than to Smith.
Yeah the guy that ran for 131 yards all year. That makes perfect sense.

It's too bad there isn't anybody in between...you know, people that actually accept the TRUTH.

Chiefsplanet has become one of the worst places to discuss football. I wonder if this is the peril of allowing a political forum because EVERYTHING here is completely polarized.

This place has lost its middle ground and with it, any semblance of realistic, balanced football discussion.

No one gives a shit about ESPN "QBR". QBR is QBR, "TQBR" is not QBR. OFC he wasn't a world beater that day but he played well enough to win if it hadn't been for both freak special teams turnovers. Certainly better than the beatdown that the Giants put on Rodgers the previous week and Brady in the Superbowl.

**** I took the bait again

Remember when knowledgeable CP members would actually go to camp and provide decent reports. Now, it is all knee jerk reactions based on twitter feeds.
