Depends on who is sitting there as to whether they pick or trade down for more picks. I don't believe QB is on the table there and I'm good with that, believe they would take Fitzpatrick if there... but, I wouldn't be schocked to see them trade back.

Why do you think that they won't go quarterback? 2 year deal to Keenum screams quarterback at 5 to me.

I do think Elway will keep Lynch around another year, hoping something clicks. I believe Elway is convinced they can chase and compete while rebuilding in spots. And, going QB at 5 doesn't help chasing and competing right now. Keenum isn't terrible, but they have to fix that OL and they need to bolster the RB spot. They have 11 picks right now, if the right offer is made, they can trade back and collect a few more. I truly believe that whether they are right or wrong, they see this as an opportunity to get younger while reloading. Part of what I like about the mentality is the belief that they can always compete and win "that next year" no matter what happened the year before. They have a lot of fixing to do, but at QB... that's the one position they've kicked themselves in the balls over a more than any other in recent years. They'll take a QB in this draft, just not at 5. I'll just be surprised if they stay at 5 and draft a QB.
