I'm not opposed to guns or C&C, I support them very much, but I'm very opposed to dipshits like this carrying guns and harassing people over nothing which escalates to shooting. It's easy to pin all of the responsibility on the dead guy. The whole case was a witch-hunt and I knew he would walk, but it doesn't change my opinion that Zimmerman is kind of a shit-bag and incredibly stupid.

And the voluntary position doesn't require you to be armed. As neighborhood watch, you look for suspicious activity, and notify authorities, you don't intercede, because they don't want a situation like this. It could've easily been avoided.

Well I think the best advice is to not go out looking for criminals at night.

Another good bit of advice is to not walk around in the dark and act like a confrontational asswipe when someone confronts you.

Maybe he could have said "hey, I'm staying at 123 HappyFun Rd with my parents."

But not following the advice hardly makes either one of them criminals.

Stupid + stupid = very bad results.
