Yeah, the people make it the shit hole in the case of L.A.. All that great weather and it attracted assholes like bees to honey. Lots of rich people....not sure that's a good thing.

As for a football team, if it were to happen again, the people will kill it (again). I'm not sure an NFL owner is willing to be the owner of the equivalent of the NFL's L.A. Clippers.

But that's just me, it's not a town that's loyal to many things, and football just might not work very well there.

The city and the economics of the city have changed immensely during the Raiders brief stay. The Staples center does amazing business and AEG owns the Kings, so it unlikely we'd see a Donald Sterling type effort. Magic and his pals spent more than $2 billion on the Dodgers and they are loved in this town as much as the Lakers (if not more).

The NFL will succeed because AEG will put a continual winner on the field. And, the stadium will be amazing.

Let's hope the Raiders move then. The thugs would need to travel a lot more often (like the do to San Diego) to play tough for a day...

Supposedly, Roger Goodell has said that the Raiders won't be allowed to move to SoCal as long as Mark Davis is the owner.

The biggest problem with the Raiders is exactly what you stated: No one wants the problems associated with their fans. Otherwise, a city like San Jose would be all over them, like they are the A's.

But who wants to deal with that mess of a fan base?

Sounds like the Chargers might make the most sense.

The Rams is also another possibility?

I would be cool with the Rams moving back. One of my co-workers is a Rams fan from the old days and he HATES that they are in Mo.

And we don't want them in Mo. anyways.
