It played finally. Thanks NewPhin, that's a beautiful clip. Great looking excerises. That one was close to my windmill excersise I do. LOL Gotta be careful with some of this stuff though. I've never had a back injury where I really couldn't play golf or caused by golf. The big mistake would be to do to much and end up with a real injury that prohibits golf. When I can bench 300lbs, I am going to do it....if I am not completely leaned out by then. I need to work more HIIT into my daily schedule. I lift at night and I don't like to try to do HIIT before or after my weight training. I have been trying to go in the mornings... but I am swamped with work. |

So I'm two days in to Silock's routine that he currently uses. My wife has been doing it with me, and we're both sore as shit. I haven't been this sore in a while, so I'm assuming that it's working the muscles differently than what I've been doing, which is a good thing.
Tomorrow is leg day. Bulgarian Split Squats, here I come...

Just be careful about the BSS. A friend of mine tried them yesterday and crashed into the safety bars because he lacked the balance necessary to pull them off. Up the weight really slowly until you have a good feel for what it's like. Especially on the first rep, lower yourself very slowly. You'll know pretty quickly if you've got the correct foot positioning that way and if you can handle the load. After that, you can do a normal tempo. Just some tips. |
