So...fans won't know if he was extended until he does/doesn't show up in 2 years? WTF?
That's probably a Pioli edict, too... |

There is at least a slight silver lining here - he'll never be successful. Ever.
If he were to leave after 2012 and sit out a year, perhaps he would end up coming back up for jobs with NE or some other dumbass 'tree' team that has a young QB in place or perhaps some other decent toys for him to play with. By some miracle, he could actually succeed and we'd have a nice shit-sandwich to eat. Here we know he's not going to succeed. He's been given enough rope to hang himself and the players that have kept him from looking like a complete fraud (Charles, Hali, Bowe, DJ and others) are only going to get older. With his sterling track record, we're only going to fall deeper into the abyss. So hey - we'll all go down together, ****er.

DannyParkins: Just spoke to the #Chiefs and they say they do not comment on the contract status of any employees who are not players. (44 minutes ago)
Basically nobody knows. Chiefs are not confirming it or denying it. |

Here's my question. We all know this season isn't going to get any better. So when will it be announced? They just going to keep "no commenting" all the way from here on out? Just more fuel to the fire for me to jump ship. Been on the record that if the Chiefs don't draft a QB in the 1st next year, I'm done. And I meant it. But at this point I think that's a lock. So I'll have to evaluate if this would do it for me. |

It wont be announced until the very last moment. Or they will try to sneak it in during SB week and hope people are too "distracted" to notice. Clark thinks we're all idiots, and I guess the fact that many still staunchly support this abortion of a franchise he just may be right. |

It will be right during those doldrums between the SB and intense draft discussion. Afterall, he's under contract for 2013 so the extension could happen anywhere in the offseason and be effective. Things will quiet down and Scotty will get his extension announced via press release.
