Kurt - I never blamed Whitlock for anything. In fact, if you will read ALL of my words, you will see that I stated whether the team was right or WRONG in getting angry, I liked it. Because they now have a focal point. If they can move that focal point to a positive goal, then they have a hook.
I think you just want to believe that I back the management and coaches regardless of their decisions.... And you are wrong. When Cunningham was hired, I was one of the first to post I disagreed. But he is coach now, so that's that. I can harp on it with 30 posts a day complaining about no playoff wins, and poor draft picks, and yadda yadda yadda. I just don't understand what purpose it serves. Griping is fine, and perfectly natural. In fact, I agree with you on many points regarding the team and their decisions. However, harping a subject over and over is a mental mistake that all of us are guily of, and one I try to avoid. [This message has been edited by KCWolfman (edited 09-06-2000).] |

Russ-What do you mean poor draft picks? Why do you constantly look for the negative? What about John Tait, Donnie Edwards, Reggie Tongue, Derrick Thomas, Neil Smith, Albert Lewis, Sylvester Morris, Dave Szott, Tim (doesn't know when to shut his mouth) Grunhard and more.............these are some bamn fine picks if you ax me.

Kurt - Again, As I stated on the other thread regarding this subject, I was not necessarily pointing out your comments, but rather if you look at others who do complain as I mentioned, you will see bitter angry people that I would never want to be anything like.

Kurt - Here is my point....
You mention Timmy and slam him for speaking his mind, directly on the air to the people who attack him and his team on a daily basis. Yet, I have yet to see one word from you on Lockett for speaking with a media member and releasing private meetings to the general public, and never having the nerve to come out and attach his name to the comments. Seems to me that you should be stating that KLock doesn't know when to shut his mouth. |

Kurt, not that I disagree with you but it is too early to put any label on SlyMo...Neil Smith was considered a bust for a couple years before he took off...But on the negative side you can't forget T.Jenkins,H.Williams,G.Hill, R.Shehee and it is starting to look like we can throw M.Cloud into that mix...That is a lot of 1st,2nd and 3rd round picks that we got next to nothing out of....

Sun - Of course, I admit when mistakes like that are made. I don't always believe they are as detrimental as some would make them out to be, but that is just me.
