I don't want to have anything to do with late first round picks, those are a nightmare.

Dallas may trade #22 AND #28 for KC's #5 to get McFadden.
I usually keep quiet on all the draft possibilities but on this I've just got to say not just NO; but HELL NO. We've already got more draft picks than Carl can shake a pecker at.

I'd do it for 22, 28 and 61...then move up to 11 using our early 3rd...let's make draft day REALLY fun, right?

IMO they would also have thrown in next year's #1 to make it even.

Dallas should stay where they are, since I would imagine that Felix Jones will still be around there. They can trade up another team who is in the 15-20 range for Jones.

I wasn't completely against this a few weeks ago. Now, I'd f'ing hate it. Not after we got that 17th pick.

Let's see:
Our 5 = 1700 points Their 22 and 28 = 1440 points. Carl is not that stupid. |

As much as I like the idea of drafting at 5, I'm not convinced there's anyone so elite in this draft that it will utterly kill us to draft at 17, 22 and 28. And in fact, we could always swing multiple trades, and trade back up, and still be ahead another 1st in '09. (But I don't think this happens, either way). |

I actually like the idea of picking up as many picks as possible. If you through enough darts at the board, you are bound to hit something. Consider who is making the decisions.

I'd rather move up from 17 than down from 5.
