Team has a good line, team absolutely needs to build morale and win, and if you draft someone you have options if he's not ready.

Oh I want a vet, but not Vick.

Best thing he had going for him, was his athleticism and ability to allude pressure. Now he's broken down and isn't the athlete, and he is just downright awful from the pocket.


I'd much rather bring in Hasselback or that type of guy.

Hasselbeck is just too old and too worn out.

That's just not true.

His line couldn't hold a pocket for him to save his life last year. That's not the case here. The guy isn't running a 4.3 anymore, but he's still plenty elusive.

Where are you getting Hasselbeck from? He's got a year left in Tennessee. Who else qualifies as a "Hasselbeck" type of guy?

Vick isn't a pocket passer, he can't read a defense, and isnt' accurate. He will miss games due to injury.


If you're bringing in a vet, that's not what you need. I'd rather have Jason Campbell or Matt Moore

He may want to. It's just my speculation.

I think if he's cut loose, there's not a whole lot of options.

1-2 years of Vick is far better than trading for Alex Smith.

One thing not getting enough love for Reid is that he's a guy who has flipped mediocre talent for strong trades, not the one buying high on marginal talent.

Now that's going to be a refreshing change of pace in KC.

Everything about this is refreshing.

If you told me 10 days ago that the Chiefs would get Andy Reid, fire Scott Pioli, and likely get John Dorsey, I would have offered you a handy.

And yes, there will be some on here that will shit ass bricks if it isn't Geno.

But for the most part, I think the majority feel that Wilson, Smith, and Barkley would all be good picks.

I would hope so. I think there are going to end up being really good QBs from this class. I just don't know which 2 or 3 will really pan out. There's no slam dunk for me. Each has a red flag.

Yeah they do.

I will say that I think alot of the Red Flags from Geno have more to do with his defense and some things that weren't necessarily his fault, but he's the QB, that's inevitably on him.

Same with Barkley. He was considered a really high pick last year, yet doesn't have the same skillset? I think he would fit really well in a Reid system.

Wilson had a shit ton of off field stuff go on in Fayettville this year, that absolutely weren't his fault and the attitude stuff, IMO, is a little out of proportion.

So yeah, there isn't a slam dunk ala Luck, but thats hardly the case and great QB's get drafted alot.

I'm not really talking about mentality. More that people bash him for not getting leads or pulling his team from behind, when he did get them a lead late in the fourth quarter against TCU and OU.

If those leads hang up, he gets credit for beating a top 7 defense vs the pass and a defense that is constantly one of the better ones in college football.
