Maybe Hunt is pissed that Dorsey deliberately drafted a QB right after Hunt specifically told him that Chiefs tradition is that we only sign former 49er QBs.

I'd love to hear the real story... Dorsey seemed all-in and I liked him... especially after the Pioli trainwreck.

We will likely never know the full true story. None of our business, actually.

Still? Wrong narrative. Nobody disagrees that Clark can do what he wants with his team.

This is an entertainment business and the NFL desperately wants the fans to be involved with the teams. Marketing. Fan engagement brings in the $$. That is why the NFL draft is heavily promoted and gets ridiculous ratings. (Teams don't have draft parties for fans because they have nothing better to do.) Fan engagement is why every NFL team participates in social media, gets involved in community affairs, and spends millions on stadium improvements.

So while nobody is trying to run the Chiefs....it IS our business to discuss and pick apart anything the owner, GM, coach (es), players do regarding the team. That, in good measure, is why there are places like CP on the interwebs. If that bothers you, why are you here?

Here's to mischief and the Chiefs staying relevant to fans at the slowest time of the year for the NFL.

This is a good observation. I remember people talking about it on draft night now that it's mentioned.
