Would You be OK With Trading Bowe For a 1st?

Lets say a contract cant be worked out because Pioli and Bowe are too far apart and it looks like Bowe will walk after this year or the only way to retain him is to tag him again.

Bowe has a 1100 yard season with 8-10 TDs and Baldwin has just over 1000 yards and has 7-9 TDs...would you be OK with trading Bowe to a team like Cleveland, NY or Miami for a single first round pick before next year starts?

The first round pick would fall into the 15-20 range.

If they don't sign him to a contract this year, he is gone. Yeah, trade him for no less than a high first. I would prefer two picks for him though.

No, not this season. We have him by the balls, in a way. He really has no choice but to play hard this season for 9.5 million ( a pretty fair price). We could possibly win the division this season, we need him.

If he doesn't do that, **** him....IMO.

I personally wouldn't trade him until next season, if they can't come to a deal..or perhaps if we are out of the playoff hunt before the trade deadline, and we get something decent for him.

He will trade the lower first round pick for multiple late round picks.

But no QB's in next years draft IMO are on that same level.

You don't just draft a QB in the first rd for the sake of drafting a QB in the first rd....regardless of how long the Chiefs have avoided to do so.
Luck yes, but it was not possible. You have to have a trade partner and Indy was not going to pass on Luck. RGIII will not live up to the hype. I love the kid and hope he goes great. But, the Redskins line is going to be terrible and RGIII is going to take a lot of hits. Redskins also don't have any future draft picks to upgrade the OL, so I don't see the problem fixing itself very quickly. I think RGIII will spend a lot of time watching from the sideline over his career.

Anyone who would is a complete tard. Bowe is what you HOPE a first-rounder becomes. No, you don't ****ing trade them once you have them. It's why cheap franchises like this one never win shit. Jared Allen needs paid? Trade him. Dwayne Bowe needs paid? Trade him.

It's embarrassing.

I don't think the people who are saying "trade him and draft a qb" could sit through 1-4 years of possible suck with increasing flashes of awesomeness while said qb grows into the position.

I could.

I'd rather sit through the growing pains of a franchise QB than sit through endless seasons of mediocrity because we have an pro bowl talent that relies on a QB to do anything.

I know that almost every year some 1st round QB goes on to be pretty good.

There are a few exceptions, but not many.

Our QB's are:

Shit

Shit

Maybe Shit

I would rather take a 1% chance that Stanzi is going to be good then watch Cassel shit the bed again.

That's the thing i don't get. We wouldn't know if he was a franchise QB or not until he played and played well. Hell, Quinn had a higher completion percentage than Montana, granted Joe played less games, but it was still lower than Quinn and not to many people even want Brady on the team
