Kendall Wright was just sitting in FA and I snatched him up for a stash, for what it is worth. In terms of WR the only adds I could see being worth it are maybe Austin Collie and or Davone Bess? Isnt Bess Miami's #1 WR currently with Johnson being cut?

Here is my opinion (FWIW)...

I'm not sure who you dropped for Kendall Wright....but hopefully it was McCluster.

Find the team that has the worst QB roster or depth (or whichever team has Andrew Luck). Offer him Tebow and Fleener for a RB.

Drop Taiwan Jones and pick up Shane Vereen.
If you have an open spot....pick up either Austin Collie or Brandon LaFell.

Since it's non-ppr....you're looking for RBs that are going to get TDs. Realistically you only need 3 QBs because you're going to usually start Newton and RGIII. You need Cutler for the bye weeks.....and Tebow isn't good enough for an every week start over the other QBs on your roster.

Honestly your team isn't as bad as you say it is. Running back is terrible but otherwise you are ok. And Bjge might be a serviceable 2nd RB in non ppr considering his goal line prowess. Helu isn't even starting right now so I wouldn't be comfortable playing him.

Kendall Wright on the ww? Pick him up ASAP. Locker looks like hes going to be the starter and loves throwing to Wright.

The Brown for Davis trade is one I would normally do ASAP, but considering your bad running backs and strength at wr, I would try to flip Davis and maybe someone else for a solid RB. Buy low on a Richardson maybe? Doubt that works but would be ideal. I would even trade him for Hillis in non ppr in a heartbeat. Goal line beast and we both know the chiefs are gonna pound the rock. If you can't find a RB you are comfortable starting then do the trade. Brown is poised to have a huge year. Maybe later in the year you can flip one of your receivers for a RB. And tight end is pretty mediocre after the top 2 so you can get a serviceable option on the ww to replace Davis in case Gronk ever goes down. Rudolph, Cook, Olsen?

I would also look into picking up backup running backs of often injured players. Goodson on the ww? Pick him up. David Wilson? Same. You mentioned Kendall Hunter. Same idea. Obviously can't pick them all up but get the ones you prefer. You would be an injury away from a good starting RB.

Drop Dexter too. He's gonna be a non factor esp. in non ppr. I would def keep Baldwin though. And Taiwan Jones? Ehh not expecting much especially in non ppr. Would much rather have Rodgers or any of the above backs I mentioned. I also wouldn't carry 3 tight ends. If you are able to trade Davis then just carry gronk if your league allows that.

Wow lol that was long. Just my suggestions take them fwiw.

I would love to offer [i]some[/b] sort of insight but that structure is so strange.

I doubt I'd help you out any.

Regardless -- good luck.

Maybe, see if Tebow gets some goal line snaps early in the year -- and try to package him.

it's a really weird league

i was looking at the last season scoring and Cam Newton had 443 points and the closest RB was Shady McCoy with 287

I just find that to be a bigger gap than normal between QB and WR or RB.

What about Vernon Davis for Shonn Green would you do that? I think that might be an option and I am desperate for a RB.

I'm curious of the scoring. Can you copy and paste it? I want to see how bad it is.

On topic, I despise Shonn Greene. He will get the rock, but he is just not a good running back. Also worried about Tebow taking away his goal line work. I wouldn't do it if I were you.

Would much rather have Brown but like you said you are desperate for RBs so I could understand if you went that route.

the scoring is very messed up and I still can't wrap my head around what or why. I didn't know the scoring format ( I assumed standard ) until I already paid and showed up to sit down and draft like five minutes before it started and asked to see a scoring sheet. It quickly changed my entire draft strategy very quickly on me trying to interpret it. For goodness sake you get 5 points if the player's team just gets a WIN for the week. That is messed up.

Can't believe Collie is available. I would pick him up ASAP. Luck's favorite target so far and was healthy all of last season.

I also like Brown too. I think he will be the WR to own in SD instead of Meachem.

WR is soooooo deep this year. It's crazy.

Team win?!?!?! LOL

That's the worst scoring rule I have ever seen. It pretty much defeats the purpose of fantasy football.

yep kind of dumb since I have like 1 player on a team that will consistently win and then a bunch of guys that will be on losing teams or sub .500 squads. So I'm screwed there

yep, which is why i needed/asked for help. I made the mistake of joining the league and now just want to try and field a competitive team/not be embarrassed by weirdos that run some crazy scoring league and get my balls busted for it since they are all real life peers.

(i know, get new/smarter friends.)

Also I did just do everything mentioned, there is no waiver wait, but there is only 15 transactions allowed per season, just used 3 of them on Kendall Wright, Shane Vereen and Austin Collie.

Now my team is

QB - Newton, RG3, Cutler, Tebow
RB - BJGE, Helu, Vereen, McCluster
WR - VJax, Garcon, DHB, Baldwin, Collie, Kendall Wright
TE - Gronk, Vern Davis
DEF - Chiefs

i still need to swing a trade or two. But he gives you a deep bench so I can stash depth and hope for the best.
