if you play at a city school or a school with poor high school education but are a ****ing natural monster on the football field, the scouts will come to you from every big school. They will figure out a way to hide your grades, get you that pretty female to do all your work for you and follow you around, etc.

Those type of players get in because they put up ridiculous high school stats.

That may not be the case for this guy, but for most of them it is. I dont know what this guys high school stats/profile are but I know guys that never had to study or do a lick of schoolwork in their life get full rides to big schools because they can run a 4.4 and beat every high schooler in the district on both sides of the ball.

or guys in their sophomore years of high school come back after the summer for the junior years all bulked up on steroids and look like they swallowed another human in the summer. They also get looked at. Big bodies, fast bodies, they dont need smarts, scouts for these big D-1 schools work full year round just going to high schools, they dont care about the high schools education program moreso than what sort of athletes are they breeding and recruiting.

if a scout comes to you and they sell you on the school you dont have to apply, they know how bad your grades are, all you have to do is sign/commit and they will figure out the rest.

That's why (this happens in basketball a lot) where you see all the white skinny nerds sitting on the end of the bench, those guys are on the team to boost the athletic GPA of the team and the athletic program for the school.

take a look at the end of Kentucky's basketball bench sometime. 4 white guys that never see the court that probably get 4.0s and are just along for the ride. So it balances itself out. For every 1 dumb good player that can't pass an algebra test they have 3 engineers getting 4.0s that are happy to be apart of the team and go to practice.

I found college pointless and I was on the Deans list many times. Academically anyway, it was a waste of time.
